PROJECT INFORMATION
A project in the design phase transforms a landmark into a shared, ecological space open to the public.
Architectural and landscape refurbishment with a responsible approach:
The proposal refurbishes an old mill in a nature park, enhancing its architecture, surroundings and social potential.
Between a straight canal and a lake, the building adopts a geometry inspired by a wave crossing the landscape. The façades contrast: ordered towards the canal, faceted and lively towards the lake.
A redesigned walkway follows the water, inviting contemplation and connecting communal spaces.
Ecological materials such as earth and hemp offer an open, mixed and lasting interpretation of heritage.
Still under study, the project combines ecology, architecture and community life in a sensitive reuse of the existing building.
